Ask Why do some people respond better to long ads while others ignore anything that is not short and straight to the point?

People process information differently depending on what they are buying and how much they already know about it. Someone considering a big purchase like a laptop or insurance will want details before they feel comfortable spending money. But someone buying a cheap everyday item does not need a long explanation, they just want to know the price and where to click. The product, the platform, and the audience all affect how much text is too much. A long ad that explains well can outperform a short one that leaves people with questions. What do you think determines how much information a buyer needs before they act?

But for others, buying is emotional and needs reassurance. Long ads aren't just info; they're a story that builds trust. These folks want the details to justify their feelings. It's also about risk. Plus, some people just enjoy the journey of a good pitch. It's entertainment, not a chore. So next time you see a novel-length ad, remember: for half the room, it's magic; for the other half, it's a wall of text to scroll past.

People make buying decisions in different ways. Some want as much information as possible before spending money, so they are willing to read a longer ad that explains features, benefits, and answers common questions. Others already know what they want and only need a quick reason to take action. For them, a short and direct message works much better than a detailed explanation.

I think it comes down to what people are looking for and how they consume information. Some people like long ads because they want details before making a decision. They want to understand the benefits, features, and reasons why a product is worth their money
