Receiving a mean comment about your hard work can be very painful and it is easy to get angry immediately. However, responding with anger usually ruins your reputation and makes the situation much worse than it needs to be. It is better to stay calm and ask the client for specific examples of what they want you to change. This shows that you are a professional who cares about doing a good job.
