This is a real problem for freelancers in certain industries where clients do not want their work shared publicly. Without samples to show, it becomes harder to convince new clients that you are capable of doing the job. Some freelancers create personal projects just to have something to display. Others ask clients for permission to show a limited version of the work without revealing sensitive details. How have you handled building a portfolio when most of your real work cannot be shown publicly?
