I noticed that some freelance platform take a large part of your earnings when you first start a contract. This can be very painful because you want to keep as much money as possible for your hard work. I have heard that the percentage might drop after you have earned a certain amount of money from the same person. It would be great to understand how this system works for long-term projects. Does the platform automatically reduce the service fee once you cross a specific payment limit?
