This is something many freelancers think about because communication with clients can take up a good portion of your working time. On hourly contracts, most platforms allow you to log communication time if it is work-related and agreed upon with the client. Fixed-price contracts are different because the scope is usually set from the start. Do you include communication time in your rates or do you treat it as part of the job that comes without extra charge?
