When someone searches on Google, they already have a clear idea of what they are looking for. If they land on a page and it does not match what they expected, they leave immediately. This is called a high bounce rate, and it usually means the page title or description promised something the content did not deliver. It could also mean the page loaded too slowly or looked messy on their phone. Does the gap between what a page promises and what it actually delivers cause most of these quick exits?

People often leave a page within seconds after clicking from Google when it doesn't match what they expected. If the content feels off-topic, slow to load, cluttered, or doesn't show the answer quickly, they bounce back. Sometimes they're just browsing and realise it's not what they needed. It usually comes down to relevance, clarity, and user experience.

Some visitors leave a page quickly because their attention span is short and online choices are endless. Even if the content is decent, distractions, multitasking, or scanning for instant value can make them bounce before fully engaging. Essentially, it's less about the page itself and more about the fleeting nature of user focus in the digital age.
