Ask Why do some clients treat every small update as a new project that should be done for free?

When you agree to a project, the terms are usually clear at the start. But some clients have a habit of sending small requests after you deliver the work and acting surprised when you say those requests will cost extra. They call it a tiny fix or a quick addition, but those requests keep coming and the time adds up. It feels like the original agreement is being stretched little by little without anyone officially changing it. Have you found a way to stop this pattern before it gets out of hand?

You should never accept that from any client who is trying it to do it with you. You should always insist that you're going to receive payment for the new project they are bringing it to the existing one. You can only take a review and it is not going to be more than three times maximum.
