Ask Why do some clients expect you to start immediately but take two weeks to send the files you need?

This situation feels almost too familiar to many freelancers. A client contacts you with real urgency, wants you to start right away, and makes it seem like every hour counts. You agree, you clear your schedule, and then you wait. Days pass and the brief or the files they promised never show up on time. The same client who could not wait suddenly has no rush at all. Why do you think this happens so often, and how do you deal with the waiting without losing your momentum?

If it takes them long time than usual before they could send the file to get started with the gig or project default is not on you. You are ready to start but they are not providing you with the resources that make it happen on time. You need to be taking note of something like this in case if there is any dispute
