Feedback is important in freelancing because it helps you improve and also shows future clients that you can be trusted. Still, asking for it can feel awkward, especially when you do not want to seem like you are forcing the client. Some clients forget to give feedback unless you remind them, while others may feel uncomfortable if asked too directly. I try to keep my request simple and polite.
