Ask What do you do when a client insists on calling instead of communicating in writing?

I have noticed that some clients prefer phone calls for every discussion, even when messages could work better. Written communication helps keep records and avoid confusion later. Calls can be fast, but details can be forgotten if nothing is written down. I feel both methods have their place, but balance is important. How do you handle clients who prefer calls, and how do you make sure important information is still recorded clearly?

I try to go with the flow but keep things manageable. I'll hop on the call if it's important, but I usually follow up with a quick message summarizing what we talked about, so we're both on the same page. If they keep calling a lot, I gently set some boundaries. It's all about keeping things smooth: being helpful and responsive while making sure communication doesn't get messy

I'll pick a time that works for me so it doesn't mess up my day. During the call, I listen, ask questions, and jot down quick notes so I don't forget anything. After we hang up, I usually send a short message or email like "hey, just confirming what we talked about…" so there's something in writing. It keeps things clear and avoids confusion later.

Before you reach the calling stage, you must have talked about the details of the projects. You only make calls to finalize the deals, especially the pricing aspect. Calling maybe better truly, but the details may but be gotten unlike written where you can even go back to the chats to get more details.

To be honest it depends on how you want to manage your time and keep things clear. Calls can be fine, but they can also lead to confusion later if nothing is written down. A simple way is to accept the call, then send a short message after with what was discussed so everything is recorded.

The only things that makes calling better than writing is that in calling it is always faster. Marketers that have many clients will have no choice than to be calling. This will save time that just be writing. Though writing makes it easier to get the details of the jobs.
