Ask What do most freelancers do wrong during a long dry spell?

A dry spell is when work stops coming in for a long stretch of time and your income drops. It happens to almost every freelancer at some point. Some people panic and lower their prices too fast, while others go quiet and stop reaching out to potential clients. Both can make things worse in different ways. The period between jobs is also when you can lose confidence in yourself and your skills. What do you think is the biggest mistake freelancers make when work slows down and money gets tight?

I think one common mistake is panicking and lowering prices too quickly. When work slows down, many freelancers start accepting anything just to stay busy. That often leads to burnout and attracts the wrong clients. It usually makes the situation worse instead of helping long term.
