Many freelancers feel that Upwork spends too much energy adding new fees instead of finding ways to keep the people already using the platform happy and satisfied. It seems like every year brings another charge, yet very little changes to make freelancers feel valued or appreciated for staying loyal. If a platform keeps raising costs without improving the experience, people naturally start looking elsewhere for better options. Should Upwork spend more effort on keeping freelancers instead of adding more fees?

One thing the platform needs to know is that they can do things alone by themselves they need the service of the freelance on that platform to keep it hold. Freelance business is a tripod business model in which all parties must be present to hold without that the business will crumble if the freelance are no longer available
