Ask Should a brand delete underperforming posts or leave everything up regardless of the numbers?

Leaving posts up is usually the better call. Old content can pick up views weeks or months later, especially on platforms like Pinterest or LinkedIn where content has a longer shelf life. Deleting posts frequently can also confuse the algorithm and make your account look inconsistent. If a post is genuinely outdated or sends the wrong message about your brand, removing it makes sense. But pulling down posts simply because the numbers were disappointing is rarely worth it. Does removing low-performing content actually help an account in the long run?
