There may be many reasons why users and recipients may want to unsubscribe to e-mail. But can it be done without unsubscribing to it? Normally when an email is sent to recipients, there is always a disclaimer that will show that the recipient can unsubscribe from the emails, meaning they won't be having access to these mails any longer.

That's should be the best and easiest way to go by it. But in a situation where the recipient wants to stop emails being sent but doesn't want to unsubscribe, there may be a way of blocking the senders or divert or rather designated such a particular sender to spams.

You can set up filters in your inbox so stuff from certain senders goes straight to a folder or the trash. Another trick is marking emails as spam or promotions so your inbox learns what to ignore. Some people just use a separate email for sign-ups to keep their main inbox clean. And a lot of sites let you tweak your email settings so you only get the stuff you actually care about.
