When someone tells a story, the mind holds on to it much longer than when it sees plain numbers. A story has a beginning, a problem, and an ending, and that shape makes it easy to follow. Numbers alone do not give the brain much to hold on to, so they fade fast. Many brands now use stories in their ads instead of just listing features. Does this mean businesses should drop plain facts and lean fully on stories to pass their message?
