But when you focus on, say, readers in the United Kingdom or Canada, you can speak to their specific needs, mention prices in their currency, and recommend products that are actually available to them. It helps you create more relevant content, target less competitive keywords, and build trust with readers who feel the content is made for them. Once you gain authority and understand your audience better, it's easier to expand into other markets. A global approach can work, but a focused audience often delivers stronger results early on.
 
Choosing between a global or country-specific audience comes down to clarity versus scale. A focused country strategy helps you connect deeply with local culture, language, and needs, making your content more persuasive and actionable. On the other hand, a global approach increases reach but often weakens precision. The strongest results usually come from defining one primary audience first, then expanding outward once the message is refined and effective.
