Is it a must I get closer to my client to be a good freelancer?

There have been several debates and arguments on whether it is a must that you get closer to the clients before you can be seen as a good freelancer. Therr are many instances where people will only judge you as a goof freelancer just because you are too nice to your clients. Some freelancers don't really care. They only perform their duties and leave the rest. What do you have to say about this?

You don't necessarily too get close to the client before you can be coming a better freelance. Most important thing is that you build a good relationship with the client and this can lead to long-term contract. Focus on providing the maximum satisfaction on your service and be open up for more question for them
