Is it a must that a freelancer retain their clients?

In freelancing, it is not really a matter of do or die affair for you to get your clients retained. There are some clients that are cool to work with. You will like working with them. And there are some that don't deserve your time at all. Working with them won't increase you. These types of clients can easily be discarded. What do you think about this? It is the client who is going to decide if they are going to retain the freelance are or not. Freelance don't have the power to retain clients to stay with them forever. The only thing you can do is to give them services which they cannot find elsewhere. With that they are going to stay with you as long as you still give them maximum satisfaction
