Most websites that connect workers with clients take a percentage of every dollar earned which can feel like a heavy burden. If these platforms stopped taking that fee, I wonder if it would attract better clients or just bring in more people looking for cheap labor. Sometimes fees act as a filter to keep out people who are not serious about professional work. If the middleman stopped charging us, do you think we would find better people to work with or worse ones?
