How should I reply if a client asks me to work for free for them to trust me?

This is not a new thing in freelancing. There are many times that the clients will just be asking the freelancers, especially the new ones, that they should let them work for free. This is not really a problem. Freelancers should find ways of replying without offending them. They can easily tell them that they don't do that. Your effort is worth being paid. As a result of this, they should find ways to pay you and not asking for free things

No you should never agree to work for free because the platform is definitely going to charge you money for every transaction you get yourself involved with. I have an experience with a client like that in the past but I declined it because the platform will charge about 5% of the transaction so I can't foot that bill
