For some people it happens within days of setting up a profile or reaching out to their network. For others it takes months of sending proposals and getting no response before something finally clicks. The time it takes seems to depend a lot on your field, how you present yourself, and whether you already have any connections in your area of work. How long did it take you to get your first real paying client, and what do you think finally made the difference?

When I first got started it takes me over 40 days before I could land in my first job as a freelance on social media platforms. The reason is that I have to leave the freelance marketplace and go over to social Media platform in start sending messages to the people especially my target audience
