It is quite common to meet people who think giving you a shoutout is enough payment for your hard work. I personally find it disrespectful because exposure does not pay for electricity or internet data. Real businesses value professional services and they should be ready to pay the agreed price in cash. Working for free usually leads to more people asking for free things which ruins your brand. How do you usually handle a potential client who offers to mention your name instead of paying your actual fee?
