Rejection is something every new freelancer runs into quickly. You send a proposal, wait, and then either hear nothing back or get a short message saying they went with someone else. It is easy to take that personally, especially when you are just starting and already feeling unsure about yourself. But rejection in freelancing is often less about you and more about timing, budget, or what the client already had in mind. Some people develop a thick skin fast, while others really struggle with it. How did you deal with rejection early on?

It is normal to feel bad when a client says no, but you should not let it stop you. Just keep sending more applications every day. When you stay busy with new work, you will not have much time to worry about the people who did not hire you at all.
