I'm new to freelancing, and I've heard that clients sometimes disappear without a word. That sounds frustrating. I don't want to spend time on a project only to be left hanging.
I want to make sure my clients stay engaged. But I don't know how to do that. Should I ask for upfront payments? Should I follow up more often? Or is ghosting just something freelancers have to deal with?
I want to keep my work secure and avoid wasting time.
