Marketing a service through paid search requires a different mindset than selling a physical product. When you sell a product, people can see what they are getting, so your ad just needs to show the item clearly. But with a service, people cannot touch or see it, so your ad has to build trust and explain the benefit quickly. You also need a strong landing page that answers questions and removes doubt. What has worked best for you when running ads for a service-based business?

Selling things you can touch is much easier because people see exactly what they get. With a service, you have to talk more about how you solve a problem. It really comes down to showing people that you are honest and you know exactly what you are doing for them.

You have to be very careful with services because you are selling a promise. A physical item is simple, but a service needs proof that you are reliable. People look for reviews or clear explanations before they feel ready. Make sure your page shows them exactly why you are better.

Most people want to know the price when they look at a product online. But with services, they want to know if you can fix their issues. Your ads should focus on answering their questions right away. This way, they feel comfortable enough to reach out and hire your team.

One major difference is how I measure success. For services, conversions often mean form submissions, phone calls, or appointment bookings, and there may be several follow-ups before a sale happens. For physical products, the goal is usually direct online sales. Because of that, product campaigns often rely heavily on shopping ads, pricing strategies, and inventory information, while service campaigns depend more on persuasive messaging and strong lead-generation landing pages.
