How do I increase my close rate on proposals?

Hello BMFers,

I am on negotiation stage with a client. But I am stuck. I don't know how to negotiate further. He's negotiating at his strength level. I am not from his country. And he's using that as an avenue. I don't want to lose him but the negotiation doesn't really favour me. While I am negotiating based on the angle of value and skill, be wants me to negotiate on the side of country. What do you think I need to do?
