How do I calculate my hourly rate as a beginner?

Among the issues that do confront new freelancers is how to fix hourly rate. It is somehow difficult most times to get the rate calculated. How do you advice the freelancers to get the hourly calculated in such a way that will not affect them. Because most of them always undercharge themselves more than they overcharge themselves.
