Not every successful freelancer is out there sending proposals or pitching strangers. Some seem to have a full workload without doing any of that, and it makes you wonder what they are doing differently. From what I can tell, it often comes down to referrals, a strong reputation in a specific space, or content that brings people to them over time. It is a slower path to build, but it sounds like a much less exhausting one once it starts working. Do you know any freelancers who work this way, and what do you think made it possible for them?
