I'm new to freelancing and not sure about file ownership. If a client hires me for a project, do I have to give them all the original files?
For example, if I design a logo, should I send just the final image or also the editable files? What if they ask for everything, including raw files?
I worry they might reuse my work without paying me again. Do freelancers charge extra for source files?
I also don't know if contracts should mention file rights. How do you handle this situation with clients?
