In a way to show appreciation or to entice new clients, there are some freelancers that always offer discounts to their new clients. This has really made some of the clients to be patronizing them. However, it doesn't mean that it is untill a freelancer offer discounts that he can get clients. There are some clients that do not mind. They allow you to work for them even if you don't give them any discount at all.
