New shops often copy big brands because it feels safe and already trusted by people. They copy the colors, the tone, and even the way big brands talk to customers online. But buyers can usually tell when a shop is not being original, and this can make trust harder to build. A shop that speaks in its own way often connects better with people. Should new shops build their own identity early, or is copying big brands a normal way to start?

I think it's pretty normal for new shops to copy big brands at the start because it feels safer and gives them a direction. But it shouldn't last too long. Big brands already have trust and history, so copying them doesn't really help a new shop stand out. It's better to use them as inspiration and then slowly build your own voice so customers can actually remember and connect with you.
