Bounce rate means the percentage of people who open a page and leave without clicking anything else. If bounce rate is higher on mobile, it may mean the page is hard to read, slow to load, or the buttons are difficult to press. People using phones usually want quick information, not long text. I think page layout and speed play a big role here. Fixing mobile design can sometimes reduce bounce rate quickly. What reasons usually cause this difference between desktop and mobile users on websites today?

On desktop, people tend to sit longer and actually browse around more because it's easier to click and read. Also, screen size and layout matter a lot. And sometimes it's just intent too: mobile users often want quick answers, while desktop users are more likely to explore
