This is something a lot of freelancers understand, especially early on or during slow periods. When work is slow and bills are waiting, it is very hard to turn down a project even when something about it feels off. You might know the client will be difficult, the pay is low, or the work is outside what you do best, but the pressure to earn something makes it feel like you have no choice.
