Ask Why do some clients negotiate hard on price and disappear the moment you agree to their number?

This is something a lot of freelancers have gone through at least once. A client pushes back on your rate, keeps going back and forth, and the moment you come down to meet them, they stop responding. You never hear from them again. It starts to feel like the negotiation was never really about finding a fair price. Some people think these clients were just shopping around and never planned to hire anyone. Have you been through this, and what do you think was really going on?

There are so many reason for this. The client might be skeptical about the price you are giving him or her. The skepticism will be more the moment you agree to the price. While he is chatting you he has already chatted another freelance on the same services and those one are giving lesser price.
