It is common for sponsored posts to receive fewer likes. Many people scroll past anything that looks like an ad because they feel it is meant to sell something, not start a conversation. Regular posts often feel more natural, so people engage more freely. Sponsored posts also reach people who may not know your page well, so they may not respond with likes even if they read the message. Sometimes the design looks too formal, which makes people less eager to interact. A simple style with a friendly tone often performs better. What do you think?

Sponsored posts usually get fewer likes because they just feel like ads. People are on social media to see friends, funny stuff, or cool inspirationnot to be sold something. Even if your post looks great, the sponsored tag kinda makes people scroll past. Plus, the algorithm often shows sponsored posts to people who aren't really your followers, so they're less likely to engage. Basically, your regular posts feel real and relatable, while sponsored ones scream buy this!

You are right. I have also noticed this. But I want to believe it is because the CTR is not strong enough to compel the audience from seeing it. Most times, some social media always put sponsored ads in the midst of the media, especially the interesting parts

People have basically trained themselves over the years to ignore anything that looks like an advertisement, and sponsored posts usually have that overly polished, sales-focused appearance that immediately screams "skip me" to most users scrolling through their feeds.

Your regular followers engage with your normal content because they made an active choice to follow your page and they have gotten comfortable with your usual posting style and voice. When you run a sponsored post, it suddenly gets shown to completely random people who have never heard of you or your brand before, and they have absolutely zero reason to trust you or care about what you are trying to tell them.

If you genuinely want better results from your paid promotions, you should make your sponsored posts look and feel exactly like your regular organic content instead of making them so obviously promotional that people can spot them as ads from a mile away.

Your regular followers already like what you do and have shown through their past behavior that they're interested in your content. Sponsored posts get pushed out to cold audiences based on interest targeting and demographics, and those people never asked to see your content randomly appearing in their feeds.

When your sponsored post looks like it came straight from a professional marketing agency instead of from a real person sharing something they care about, people scroll right past it because it doesn't fit naturally into their feed of personal updates and casual content from people they actually know and trust.

Regular posts from your page might end with a casual question or just leave things open for natural discussion in the comments, but sponsored posts almost always have that unmistakable "click here," "learn more," or "shop now" energy that makes it crystal clear you want something specific from them.

It might sound cynical to say this, but it's genuinely true that these platforms have built their entire business model around making organic performance gradually worse over time so you feel like you have no choice but to keep spending money on advertising.

Sponsored posts only appear once in someone's feed at a specific moment, and if they happen to be busy with work or distracted by something else when it randomly shows up, you have completely lost your one chance to reach that particular person.

Sponsored ads are seeing as intruder. In fact most people that are using it don't use the right thing that can make people click it. The banner ads may not be put in the right place where audience can easily see the ads and click on some of it these ads.
