Why do most freelancers fail to grow?

It is worrisome to know that there are some freelancers that are not growing in freelancing. There are many reasons why this may happen. And most reason will be the following. There are some new clients that are not improving on their skills. They still believe in their archaic skills. Even when there is advancement in technology, they don't bother upscaling their skills. Some are not making daily outreach as it is supposed to be done.
