There are many things that can cause this. You only need to be ahead of your games always. How? Make sure that you don't stop at the conversation, rather lead them to the point where they have to make decisions, either to pay or not. Then don't give them the option of seeing you as an option. Don't bud yourself too low for them not to look down on you. And don't be too high for them to afford you.
