You need to know when to call it a quit and stop forcing it. When you notice that despite all the effort that you are putting in as a freelancer, none is working out. You need to be thinking of calling it a quit when your niche is not profitable any longer. When despite the fact that you have tried acquiring skills, you are still not getting better in making money. What do you think about this?
 
You should stop thinking about freelancing when you have done everything within your capacity and you are not getting good results from it. You don't have to necessarily struggle hard before you can make a head way with freelance business. Once your not making money from freelance business you can try other avenue to see if you will succeed.
