Just like it is okay to focus on building products, it is better to learn to build community first. Users should know how much importance building community has in stock for them. It is the coach that would put them through for them to know the best way they can make this happen.

Community can be offline but most efficient if it is built around social media online. What is your take about this?

It's about connecting with real people who care about what you're doing. Chat with them, hang out online, listen to their thoughts and find out what they actually want. This way, the product you make feels way more useful and authentic. Plus, having a solid group of fans early on means they'll help spread the word and stick with you longer. So instead of rushing to build something, it's smarter to chill, build those relationships, and let the product grow naturally from there.

There is always the need to have a solid community that is strong first before starting promoting products. This is the method that a good coach should be teaching his clients. With this method, it will be easier selling more than being salesy to those that you have not built rapport with.

I completely agree! Building a community first creates a strong foundation for any products or services you may offer. By engaging with your audience, understanding their needs, and involving them in the process, you not only create a loyal customer base but also ensure that the products you develop are aligned with what they truly want.

To be frank this is the mistake that most of the coaches commit. They don't always build community before they start building their products. This has made them seem they are after the products and not really the people. They appear more salesy when they do this.

I completely agree with your approach. Building a community first around your product or idea can lead to more long-term success and sustainability. By fostering genuine connections with your audience, you not only gain valuable insights into their preferences and needs but also create a loyal customer base that will support and advocate for your brand.

Let them know the power of interconnection. Let them know how to get the right people who share the same vision with them. This will make them to create community for themselves where they can be helping, sharing ideas and solving issues together for their progress in a coaching program

Emphasizing the importance of establishing connection and collaboration within a community is key. Encouraging clients to seek like-minded individuals who share their goals and values can foster a supportive environment in which they can learn, grow, and thrive together.

Find a small group who actually care about the problem you're trying to solve and just start talking with them. Ask questions, listen to their experiences, and keep the conversation going in places like WhatsApp groups, Discord, or small meetups. The goal is to build real relationships, not just collect customers. When people feel heard and involved, they naturally start shaping the idea with you. Over time, the community basically tells you what product they want. Then when you finally launch something, it's not to strangers

Most of the coaches that want to have more audience will try to build communities first. When they do that, they can have more access to audience. You only need to have people that have the same interest and as well as making sure that you are active in updating the community.

My approach is to go where your future users hang out and just observe. Then, start giving without asking. Answer questions, share insights, host free office hours. Build a tiny, loyal email list or Slack group before writing a single line of code.
That community becomes your compass, your focus group, and your first 100 paying customers rolled into one. That trust beats any feature list, every time.
