The first thing is to check whether the issue is with the keyword or the page it is sending traffic to. If the keyword is relevant but the landing page does not match what the person was searching for, they will leave without doing anything. You fix the page or send traffic to a better one. If the keyword itself is too broad and attracting the wrong people, you switch to a more specific match type or replace it. Pausing the keyword while you fix the issue is better than continuing to lose money on it. So what do you think is the most common reason a keyword spends money without bringing any leads?
