Many people say freelancing is not easy at the beginning because clients usually look at reviews before giving work. A freelancer may have good skills, but without feedback, some clients may still ignore the profile and choose someone else. Positive reviews also seem to help people charge better prices after some time. At the same time, getting the first few reviews can feel slow and stressful for new freelancers.
