There are so many freelance platforms online now that it can be hard to know which ones are worth your time and which ones might waste it or even put your money at risk. Some platforms have been around for years and have built a reputation, while others are newer and harder to judge. Things like how they handle payments, whether they have real support, and what freelancers say about them seem like good signs to look at. But I am not sure what most people actually check before deciding to create an account. What do you look at first when you are trying to decide if a freelance platform is worth joining?
