Still, branded ads can protect traffic from competitors bidding on the same name. They also allow businesses to highlight offers, phone numbers, discounts, or important updates directly in the ad. In some cases, branded ads improve trust because the business appears more dominant on the search page. The cost per click is also often lower compared to non-branded keywords. Some marketers strongly support this strategy while others see it as wasted spending. What is your opinion on branded ads?
 
First, they own more real estate on the results page. Second, ads let you control the message with extras like sitelinks, callouts, or promo text you can't guarantee with organic snippets. Third, they're cheap; high Quality Scores mean low cost-per-click. Finally, they protect against competitors bidding on your name. Without that ad, a rival can slip an offer above your organic link and steal lazy clicks.
 
I think the biggest reason is visibility. When a business appears in both the paid and organic sections, it occupies more space on the search results page. This can increase the chances of getting the click, especially on mobile devices where screen space is limited.
 
You know, branded campaigns are often used to defend against competitors. Some companies bid on other brands' names in an attempt to attract those searchers.
