Search volume means how many times people search for a keyword in a month. Many beginners think only big numbers matter, but small search volume keywords can still bring good traffic if the keyword shows clear buying interest. For affiliate marketing, even a keyword with 50 to 200 searches per month can be useful if the content answers the search clearly and recommends a product that fits the need. Small keywords are also easier to rank for in search engines. What minimum search volume sounds reasonable for affiliate content?

Even small search volumes can make money if people actually want to buy. I usually aim for stuff that gets like 500–1,000 searches a month. And if it's a keyword where people are ready to spend, even 200–300 searches can be totally worth it. It's really about finding the sweet spot: a smaller group of motivated buyers beats a ton of casual browsers any day. Just test a few, tweak along the way, and don't sleep on the low-volume keywords

You need to make sure that you are checking the search volume of the keywords that you are writing on. Most of the people still keep on writing on keywords that people barely search for. Even if they rank, they can not get more traffic in such a situation

There is no fixed number that works for everyone. Even keywords with very low search volume can still bring good results if the intent is clear. A keyword with 50 to 200 searches can still lead to sales if the people searching are ready to buy. It's more about quality than just numbers.

Looking at low search volume is often better because competition is usually very low too. Even if only fifty people search for a term, they might really want to buy what you are selling. You can easily rank for these words and start making some money without waiting too long.

High numbers do not always mean you will get more sales at the end of the day. Sometimes a keyword with a thousand searches is just too hard to win. It is better to pick words that few people are using. That way, your website can actually show up first.

Waiting for big traffic numbers can make you lose many good chances to earn. Small keywords are like little streams that eventually fill up a big bucket. If you target twenty small words, the total visitors will become a large amount that can sustain your whole online business.

Most search tools are not accurate when it comes to low volume keywords anyway. They often miss many small terms that people actually type into Google. You might find a hidden gem that brings in constant sales even though the data says nobody is looking for that specific item.
