Starting freelancing today feels different from a few years ago, mainly because of how many people are now doing it. Getting the first job, building trust with clients, and standing out without reviews all seem like real struggles for beginners. Some say pricing is the hardest part, while others think visibility matters more. I keep thinking about what truly stops new freelancers from succeeding early. What do you think is the biggest challenge for new freelancers today?

In my own opinion the biggest challenge for most of the new bees is that they find it difficult to make their first sales from the freelance marketplace except when they are lucky. And this is the reason why I always advise them to always source for their clients outside of the freelance marketplace
