Ask What is the best way to set expectations with a client at the start of a project?

From what I have seen, many problems in freelancing come from unclear expectations at the beginning. Some clients think one thing, while the freelancer understands something else, and it later causes confusion or delay. Things like deadlines, number of revisions, and exact deliverables are not always discussed properly. This makes the work stressful for both sides. How do you clearly explain what you will do, what you will not do, and how the project will go from start to finish?
