I have seen this go wrong so many times. A client starts a project feeling excited, then weeks pass and they hear nothing. By the time you deliver, they are already anxious or unhappy, even if the work is good. Keeping them in the loop matters more than most freelancers think. How do you usually update your clients during a long project?

There is no best way to communicate rather than to tell them the level with which you are on the project and you should always time on it. You just need to say things the Way It Is there is nothing like a mason word together just to appear professional.
