Freelance platforms are the websites or apps where freelancers find clients and get paid, and many of them take a cut of what you earn. That cut has been going up while clients seem to be offering less money for the same amount of work. So you are losing from both sides at the same time. It starts to feel like the platform is the only one winning in this situation. Is anyone finding ways around this, or have you moved away from platforms completely to work directly with clients?
