I have noticed that some clients try to pay less by complaining about the extra money Upwork charges them to use the site. These fees are part of the cost of doing business safely, so I find it strange when a client wants the freelancer to suffer for it. If you reduce your price, you end up earning much less than you deserve after your own fees are taken out. Do you usually agree to give a discount when a client brings up these platform costs?
