There are so many people on Instagram saying they own digital marketing agencies and make millions, and that's cool—but like, what do they actually do? When they started out, were they the ones making the content, running ads, checking the data, all that stuff? Or did they just hire other people to do it and pay them on commission or something? I don't really get how it works. Are they actual marketers or just business owners managing everything from the sidelines? It seems like there's a ton of hype around it, but not a lot of real info about what goes on behind the scenes or what their day-to-day even looks like. It's all kinda confusing, honestly.

Most of the people posting about making millions are probably exaggerating or showing their best months only. Real digital marketing agency owners usually start by doing everything themselves - creating content, running ads, analyzing data, talking to clients. It takes years to build up enough revenue to hire a full team. Many successful ones still handle strategy and client relationships personally while outsourcing the actual ad creation or content writing. The day-to-day is mostly client calls, reviewing campaign performance, and putting out fires when ads stop working.
